Joann Lustig & Everett Jensen: Rings and Realism

The gold jewelry of Joann Lustig and the oil paintings of Everett Jensen—the connection between these two is not only that they are good friends and that they greatly appreciate and respect each other’s work, they also both work with Color, Line, and Space.

Joann deals with actual three dimensions in her jewelry, creating a streamlined, geometric, abstract, and natural beauty.

Everett deals with the illusion of reality, painting in a Genre style that captures subjects in "essence of truth" moments.

Community Showcase Exhibition for the 2013 Art @ The Source Open Studios

Sponsored by the Sebastopol Center for the Arts, Art @ the Sources Open Studio Tour takes place the first 2 weekends in June (June 1-2 & June 8-9) and will feature 161 artists in working studios throughout Western Sonoma County.

This will be the 19th year Art @ The Source Open Studios will welcome visitors to this free, self-guided open studio tour of west Sonoma County artists. The Art @ the Source Tour includes painters, sculptors, potters, jewelers, photographers, glass, wood and fiber artists. Many studios will feature more than one artist.

This year The Sebastopol Gallery will be able to help you plan your tour by exhibiting the works of over 30 of the AATS artists.

Additionally we will have plenty of AATS catalogs to help you choose the artists you want to visit. The catalogs contain easy to follow maps to every artist studio, as well as recommendations for cozy B & Bs, superb cuisine, and world-class wineries.

An artist’s reception is scheduled at The Sebastopol Gallery for May 5th, starting at 5:00 PM showcasing the works of the exhibiting AATS artists as well as The Sebastopol Gallery's featured artists Joann Lustig and Everett Jensen.
